Abstract:  An apparatus and method for separating material are described. A material separator may comprise a frame. The frame may comprise a base supporting a slanted grate deck. The base may comprise a front wall and two opposing side walls and at least one seating member coupled to and extending upwardly from a top portion of the front wall.
